17.08.2026 Dissertation Defense of Wang Zhijie (Ван Цзіцзе) at Sumy National Agrarian University

On August 17, 2026, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted the defense of the dissertation by Wang Zhijie, entitled “International Migration of Human Resources in the Conditions of Geoeconomic Transformations,” submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Specialty 073 “Management.”

The academic supervisor of the dissertation was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Olena Slavkova. The Specialized Academic Council was chaired by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Alvina Oriekhova, while Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nataliia Stoyanets served as the reviewer. The official opponents were Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Tetiana Shkoda, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Inna Irtyshcheva, and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Viktoriia Medvid.

The dissertation examines contemporary processes of international human resource migration and their interrelationships with geo-economic transformations, labor market changes, and strategic human capital management. During the defense, Wang Zhijie presented the principal scientific findings of the research, substantiated their scientific novelty and practical significance, and provided comprehensive responses to the questions and comments raised by the members of the Specialized Academic Council, the reviewer, and the official opponents.

Following the open voting procedure, the Specialized Academic Council unanimously supported the decision to award Wang Zhijie the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Specialty 073 “Management.”

14.07.2026 Dissertation Defense of Liu Jiren (Люй Цзіжен)

at Sumy National Agrarian University

On July 14, 2026, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted the defense of the dissertation by Liu Jiren, entitled “Strategic Vectors of Corporate Culture Management at Enterprises,” submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Specialty 073 “Management.” The academic supervisor of the dissertation was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Olena Slavkova.

The Specialized Academic Council was chaired by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nataliia Stoyanets. Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Alina Brychko and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoriia Tkachenko served as reviewers. The official opponents were Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Kostiantyn Bezverkhyi and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Varaksina.

The dissertation addresses topical issues of strategic corporate culture management and substantiates appropriate directions for its development within the framework of contemporary management science. During the defense, the applicant presented the principal scientific findings of the research, substantiated their scientific novelty and practical significance, and provided comprehensive responses to the questions raised by the members of the Specialized Academic Council.

Following the dissertation defense, the Specialized Academic Council adopted the decision to award Lü Jizhen the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Specialty 073 “Management.”
