Guest lecture by Liqun WEI, lecturer at the School of Continuing Education, Benbu University (PRC)

On 31 October 2025, a guest lecture was held on the topic ‘Introduction to China’s Open Education Management System.’ The speaker was Liqun WEI, lecturer at the School of Continuing Education, Benbu University (PRC).
The lecture brought together academic and teaching staff, postgraduate students and students interested in learning about international educational practices. Liqun WEI shared key aspects of the functioning of the open education system in the People’s Republic of China, revealing issues related to the organisation of open education in the PRC, the role of central and local governments; trends and challenges facing the qualitative development of this sector, especially in provincial regions; the introduction of new technologies and methods to ensure continuing education and professional development.
This event was another step in strengthening academic ties between Sumy NAU and Chinese educational institutions. The exchange of experience in the field of open education system management is particularly relevant, as both countries are actively working to improve their educational processes and adapt to modern global requirements.
