As part of the practical training of specialist managers, a unique guest lecture was held on one of the most relevant topics of today: ‘How to manage crises: personal experience.’
The speaker at the event was Ivan ZAKORKO, director of Aluminium-Style LLC, a successful company with significant experience working in conditions of high economic turbulence.
I. ZAKORKO shared with students real cases and strategies that his company used to overcome difficult situations. He emphasised the importance of developing a monitoring system that allows managers to identify potential crises at an early stage. He gave examples of quick decision-making in conditions of limited time and resources, in particular, regarding the optimisation of financial flows and personnel management during a crisis.
Students had the opportunity to hear about the real challenges and non-standard solutions used in the Ukrainian business environment and the personal qualities of a crisis manager: stress resistance, determination and the ability to take responsibility.
The event took the form of a lively discussion, where future managers actively asked questions about risk management, financial planning and working with a team in critical moments.
We express our sincere gratitude to Ivan ZAKORK for his openness and willingness to share his invaluable practical experience, which is an extremely important element of the professional training of future managers.
