Commission on Agricultural Geography and Land Engineering
Nataliia Dehtiar, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship at Sumy National Agrarian University, and the Steering Committee Member of the Commission on Agricultural Geography and Land Engineering (IGU-AGLE), presented her research titled “Transitional Framework for Rural Renewal under War-Induced Ecosystem Service Degradation in Ukraine” and served as a Session Chair at the 7th Annual IGU-AGLE Conference, which took place on November 5–8, 2025, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand.



Scholars from more than 20 countries gathered to share insights and foster collaboration for building resilient agricultural systems and securing the planet’s food future. Ukraine’s voice was heard with pride and purpose — a reminder that even in times of hardship, science, resilience, and unity light the way forward.
